The Medicinals are a Vermont based bluegrass group consisting of:

Jen Merriman - fiddle / vocals
Mike Lorenz- mandolin / vocals
Jeremy Sicely- dobro / vocals
Ben Werlin- acoustic guitar / vocals
Jeff Thompson - upright bass / vocals

This coming Tuesday night, we'll take another wack at the "sunset set series." I say "wack", 'cuz our attempts to put music on the patio have been tantamount to hitting our head against the wall. Seems whenever we try, we bring the rain. And while the farmers might thank us, there are surely folks about town who'd prefer we stop trying so hard. This unrboken chain of rain ended last Tuesday night as tunesmith Maryse Smith sent her sounds floating out towards the setting sun. And since we're on a one-week roll, I feel completely comfortable declaring the jinx of Tuesday evening rain over and announcing:

Tuesday, 07.08.08, @ SUNSET!!!!
THE MEDICINALS!!!

They're diligent, dependable & deeply rooted. You can tell they're thinking, listening and working to bring out the best in each other & the group as a whole. This coming Tuesday, the Medicinals will be playing their unique brand of bluegrass on our patio into the undoubtably glorious & setting sun. As a testament to their talents, the Medicinals draw a dedicated crowd of listeners whenever they play our digs. So come one, come all for a casual evening of live Medicinal-stylin' bluegrass on our patio this coming Tuesday night!!!
