Headlining: Abi Robins & Sean Renner

Genre: Avante Guarde Singer Songwriter

The Missouri based singer songwriter duo Sean Renner & Abi Robins are rolling to the Skinny Pancake in Burlington on their East Coast International tour of the summer.

From their web sites:

Creating music that his listeners describe as Acoustic/Electronic Experimentation, Renner pushes the limits of the acoustic singer/songwriter paradigm, but yet remains accessible, personal and intimate. His influences range from Radiohead to Beethoven, Bjork to Sufjan Stevens, and he elegantly displays each in a creative blend of musical and technical prowess.

With a surprisingly short career, Robins boasts musical maturity and business saavy far beyond her years. Drawing upon in fluences as diverse as The Beatles, Ani DiFranco, Nickel Creek, Aimee Mann, John Mayer, Billie Holliday, and Patty Griffin, Robins creates a harmonic atmosphere that is, at times, familiar, and at others, utterly distinct.
