The third and final installation of our Local Folks Series, a winter music session in three parts that has taken place on third Thursdays--until now as this one has been moved forward by a week...due to...exciting changes ahead....(stay tuned...)

There is a large pool of local music for one to dip into. Supporting local is something we thrive on at the Skinny Pancake. We recognize that some avid Skinny Pancake supporters are also musicians who like to play here. In homage to those who persistently pursue their passion for performing music, we introduce the third session of the Local Folks Series.

This series began in Jan, we've been hosting three acoustic acts from the 802 rotate within the night, performing their favorite tunes. Genres range from Americana and Classic Folk to Blues and Old time.

The featured line-up (in order of appearance) on Thurs March 11 Charlie Messing, Kip deMoll, Kevin Greenblott.

An off shoot project of Wiley Dobbs www.wileydobbs.com/, Wilbur's Dog performs acoustic blues & blue grass.

The duo consists of mandolin and acoustic guitar. From their website,  "The members of the band have had over 15 years in various incarnations to arrive at their musical destination; an inspired fusion of bluegrass and original music which charts new musical territories while paying homage to the masters." 

Nicole Erin Carey www.myspace.com/nicoleerincarey is at it again...bringing her blend of indie folk back to the Cake! A sweet spirited singer songwriter, Nicole is no stranger to the Vermont music scene. From time to time, she has filled our stage with extra special guests. Come see what she has in store on Saturday...
